THIS special version of the super limited edition RNS12 hand-made supershirt design is one of only 7 pieces of its kind currently being made by hand in the entire world this year each exclusively for Leclaireur Hérold in Paris, from a classic European cut tailored shirt pattern from our extensive tailoring research, and cut using a luxury pure silk 16-momme raso satin exclusive Leaf paisley print design fabric made for us by the legendary Brenna family in Como Italy- the world’s leading center for fine silk fabric creation, creation--then specially dyed by hand in our world-famous GBS Superworkrooms at Cavarzere Venezia with a special version of our renowned super-artisanal “accident dye” process that required over 10 hours for each piece to achieve its unique base and contrast colors, patina effects and softness. The extreme hand-made design features a classic European tailored men’s shirt cut and design, expert single-needle stitching throughout, impeccably clean finished all french-seamed interior construction, all handstitched pure silk thread label detailing work, remarkable real horn buttons made for us by the world’s greatest living buttonmakers--Claudio and Cinzia Fontana in Parma Italy--and no less than 12 of our signature hand sewn buttonholes (each one required 10-12 minutes to cut and sew, over 3 hours of ultra-skilled work on buttonholes and buttons for the single shirt) each in luxurious pure silk Bozzolo Reale Milano Seta threads. The piece also features our world leading pure silk label created exclusively for us by Mion SpA in Torreglia- the first label in the luxury industry to completely eliminate plastic polyester yarns in it which was hand dyed to achieve its beautiful color and lustre and exquisitely attached all by hand using pure silk threads. Variations in color and color density are not imperfections or irregularities, but specific characteristics of the special fabric, and hand dyeing and making technique.
