THIS super limited edition GBS Evolution IX.2 EV9WS02 handmade shirt design is the only piece of its kind made by hand in the entire world. It was created exclusively from a specially developed combination of antique 19th century French tailored and Asian historical relaxed body woven tailored shirt design patterns from our extensive tailoring research, and cut by hand using a supersoft lighter weight Super 120's "Venezia II" pure luxury cotton yarn-dyed striped weave shirting cloth, woven exclusively for us by the world’s leading research fabric maker--Luigi Parisotto in Sarcedo, Vicenza Italy--then specially washed and treated by hand in our world-famous GBS Superworkrooms at Cavarzere Venezia for extra aging, shaping, drape and incredible softness. The design features an elegant gathered and pleated neckline adjoining a soft narrow slightly cutaway collar with wide A-line bodice and block sleeve elements combined with a unique curved center front bottom, extensive had stitch detailing work down center-front,and sleeve hems, all single-needle stitchwork with impeccable clean-finished French-seamed interior construction, exquisite 2-hole real mother-of-pearl button designs created for us by the Lanzanova family of pearl button specialists in Brescia, Italy--and no less than seven of our signature real hand-stitched buttonholes (each one required 10-13 minutes to cut and sew) in luxurious pure silk Bozzolo Reale Milano Seta threads. The piece also features our world leading pure silk hand dyed label created exclusively for us by Mion SpA in Torreglia which is the first label in the luxury industry to completely eliminate plastic polyester yarns in it--beautifully attached entirely by hand using pure silk threads.
