This super limited edition GBS Evolution IX EV9J12 extreme handmade jacket design is one of only 5 pieces of its kind made by hand in the entire world. It was created from an original classic 3-button single-breasted notch-lapel jacket pattern from our extensive tailoring research, and cut entirely by hand using an all new pure linen tick stripe weave midweight luxury suiting cloth woven only for us by the world’s leading research fabric maker--Luigi Parisotto in Sarcedo Vicenza--combined with an exquisite warm weather partial lining story of pure silk 16-momme raso satin exclusive floral print luxury fabric made for us by the legendary Brenna family in Como, Italy--the world's leading center for fine silk fabric creation--and yarn-dyed striped pure cupro Bemberg-type sleeve linings made specially for us by Ezio Ghiringhelli in Varese, then specially dyed by hand in our world-famous GBS Superworkrooms at Cavarzere Venezia using a process that required over 10 hours of expert work to achieve its unique colors, patina effects, shaping, hearty feel and softness. The design features a special long-term design with very special old-fashioned canvas horsehair front and collar interfacings totally hand-padstitched with over 1000 invisible hand stitches inside to give it its remarkable soft, natural roll line along lapels and collar, real handmade working buttonhole 3-button surgeon’s sleeve cuffs and handcut side vents, five impeccable hand-cut and tailored besom and welt pockets, generous 2,5 centimeter seam allowances on major fitting seams that allow the jacket to be altered and let out a full size larger than their original cut, real hand sewn hemlines (not machined), remarkable real horn advanced rubberized finish button designs made exclusively for us by the world’s greatest living buttonmakers--Claudio and Cinzia Fontana in Parma, Italy-- and no less than10 of our signature real hand-stitched buttonholes (each one required 10-12 minutes to cut and sew) in pure silk Bozzolo Reale Milano Seta threads, and is hand-signed and numbered by the designer. The pieces also feature our world leading pure hand dyed silk label created exclusively for us by Mion SpA in Torreglia, which is the first label in the luxury industry to completely eliminate plastic polyester yarns in it allowing the garment to be 100% plastic-free--beautifully attached entirely by hand using pure silk threads.
