THIS special version of the super limited edition GBS Evolution VIII EV8P12 hand-made supertrouser design is one of only 2 pieces of its kind made by hand in the entire world. It was created exclusively from our new “extensionism” advanced design extreme wide leg pleated tailored elastic drawstring waist trouser pattern from our extensive tailoring research, and cut using a luxurious extrafine worsted Super 130’s pure wool “Ceremonia” classic Italian morning stripe suiting cloth woven specially for us by the Lanificio T.G. Fabio in Biella, Italy--the world’s leading center for fine virgin wool fabric production--then individually and specially hand accident dyed in our world-famous GBS Superworkrooms at Cavarzere Venezia using a proprietary process that required over 8 hours of expert work for the single piece to achieve its special mottled colors, patina effects, shaping, drape and incredible softness. The design features a special new tailored drawstring waist design with elegant deep pleats and wide leg silhouette proportions, hand-cut front slash pockets and tactical gusset design back buttoned pockets , real hand-sewn taped hemlines (not machined), an impeccably beautiful interior- entirely taped seam finishing using special Italian satin tapes, advanced new flat form micro-4 hole real horn buttons made for us by the world’s greatest living buttonmakers-Claudio and Cinzia Fontana in Parma, and our signature real hand-stitched buttonholes (each one required 10-14 minutes to cut and sew) in luxurious pure silk Bozzolo Reale Milano Seta threads. The piece also features our world leading pure silk hand dyed label created exclusively for us by Mion SpA in Torreglia which is the first label in the luxury industry to completely eliminate plastic polyester yarns in it--beautifully attached entirely by hand using pure silk threads. Variations in color and color density are not imperfections or irregularities, but specific characteristics of the special fabric, hand dyeing processes, and hand making technique.
