SPECIAL EXTREME HANDMADE TECHNOLOGY DESIGN EXCLUSIVE GBS HAND DYED ALL HANDWOVEN TESSITURA LA COLOMBINA “JUMP WEAVE” PURE MERINO WOOL FABRIC WITH PURE COMO SILK LININGS, HANDSEWN LUXURY VENETIAN METALLIC LACE, CHAIN WEIGHTED HEMS, SILK HAND MADE BUTTONHOLES & SPECIAL ITALIAN JEWELED BUTTONS

THIS special hand dyed red version of the super limited edition RSWJ05 handmade jacket design is the only piece of its kind made by hand in the entire world. It was created exclusively from a design that was created specially for the 2016 “Examen Reginae” collection, the most extreme hand built women’s collection ever presented in Paris for ready to wear. It was made using our original modified mid-length late 20th century single-breasted 5-button 4-pocket jacket pattern from our extensive tailoring research, and individually cut by hand using an amazing exclusive “jump weave” design fabric entirely woven by hand using pure Merino wool yarns by Carlo Colombo at Tessitura La Colombina in Badoere di Morgano, where it takes 3 days working on one of the original 18th century looms carefully kept and maintained for generations to make enough cloth just to make a single jacket. It was then fully-lined with luxury pure silk 16 momme raso satin exclusive geometric print design made only for us by the legendary Brenna family from Como Italy--the world’s leading center for fine silk fabric creation--then specially double hand dyed in our world-famous GBS Superworkrooms at Cavarzere Venezia with a painstaking process which required over 2 full days to achieve its beautiful red colors, patina effects, shaping and softness. The design features exquisite interior metal hem chains made exclusively for us in Padova attached to the bodice hemlines all by our extreme skill handwork, entirely hand sewn pockets and luxury Venetian metallicized lace and trim details all around jacket fronts-sleeves-pockets also attached entirely by hand, beautiful handstitched detailing work all around the interior linings and facings, stunning jeweled buttons made exclusively for us in Padova, Italy-- and no less than 13 of our signature silk hand-stitched buttonholes and button loops (each one required 12-18 minutes to cut and sew each one on the challenging handwoven fabric) in luxurious pure silk Bozzolo Reale Milano Seta threads. The special piece is handsigned and numbered by the designer and also features our world leading pure silk label created exclusively for us by Mion SpA in Torreglia which is the first label in the luxury industry to completely eliminate plastic polyester yarns in it—beautifully attached all by hand using pure silk thread. Variations in color and color density, as well as various yarn and weave disparities, are not imperfections or irregularities, but specific characteristics of the special fabric, and hand making technique. Please treat buttons and buttonholes with extreme care. We recommend professional clean only or hand wash cold water and protecting buttons with foil or plastic wrap when washing. Do not put in washing machine or machine dryer.
