This special Evolution VI version of the super limited edition RNS12 handmade shirt design is one of only 8 pieces made for the entire world, each exclusively for Darklands in Berlin. It was created by hand using a luxurious pure silk 16-momme raso satin exclusive Darklands Giacomo Serpotta sculptural print design made only for us by the legendary Brenna family in Como, the world’s leading center for fine silk fabric creation- then individually GBS “accident-dyed” in our world famous GBS Superworkrooms at Cavarzere Venezia using our extreme handmade technology GBS process which required over 10 hours of highly specialized work to achieve its amazing mottled colors, patina effects, shaping and softness. The design features a classic European tailored men’s shirt cut and design, impeccable clean finished all French-seamed interiors, all single-needle expert construction throughout, extraordinary real horn shirt button designs made for us by the world’s greatest living buttonmakers- Claudio and Cinzia Fontana in Parma, and no less than 12 of our real hand sewn buttonholes in luxurious pure silk Bozzolo Milano Seta Reale threads (which required at least 10-12 minutes to create each one). The piece also features our world leading pure silk hand dyed label created exclusively for us by Mion SpA in Torreglia which is the first label in the luxury industry to completely eliminate plastic polyester yarns in it- beautifully attached completely by hand with pure silk threads. Variations in color and color density are not imperfections or irregularities, but specific characteristics of the special fabric, and hand making and hand dyeing technique. Please treat buttons and buttonholes with care. We recommend professional clean only or hand wash cold water and protecting buttons with foil or plastic wrap when washing. Do not put in washing machine or machine dryer.
