THIS special version super limited edition OCA01 cap is one of only 5 pieces made in the entire world, each exclusively for Eth0s in Shanghai by hand in our workrooms in Italy at Cavarzere Venezia, from our own original early 1900’s-inspired worker’s cap pattern from our extensive research, and hand-cut in a superlux pure Alashan wollenspun cashmere suiting cloth woven only for us by the oldest still operating woolen mill in the world and the world’s most respected cashmere fabric makers--Fratelli Piacenza 1733 in Pollone, Biella, Italy— combined with an exquisite pure silk 16 momme raso satin exclusive geometric and Botticelli floral print composition lining story made only for us by the legendary Brenna family in Como, Italy--the world's leading center for fine silk fabric creation--then all specially multiple hand-dyed, washed and treated in our world-famous GBS Superworkrooms at Cavarzere Venezia using a series of processes that required over 16 hours of master work to achieve its special uneven colors, patina effects, shaping, and incredible softness and drape. The design features hand cut authentic recycle vintage garment leather headband and Italian “automatica” metal-press closure all sewn on by hand for extra strength and personal quality, and also features our world leading hand-dyed pure silk label created exclusively for us by Mion SpA in Torreglia- the first label in the luxury industry to completely eliminate plastic polyester yarns in it--beautifully attached entirely by hand using pure silk threads. Variations in color and color density are not imperfections or irregularities, but specific characteristics of the special hand-dyeing and hand-making technique.
