…and cut in a superlux pure Alashan wollenspun cashmere suiting cloth woven only for us by the oldest still operating woolen mill in the world and the world’s most respected cashmere fabric makers--Fratelli Piacenza 1733 in Pollone, Biella, Italy…

…combined with an exquisite lining story composition of pure silk 16 momme raso satin exclusive “Rinascimento” Renaissance and White, blue and black floral prints made only for us by the legendary Brenna family in Como, Italy--the world's leading center for fine silk fabric creation—along with luxury striped weave viscosa lining fabric woven by Tessitura Mauri in Como--then all specially multiple dyed, washed and treated by hand in our world-famous GBS Superworkrooms at Cavarzere Venezia using a series of processes that required over 28 hours of master work to achieve its special colors, patina effects, shaping, and incredible softness and drape.

THE DESIGN features real handmade working buttonhole surgeon's cuffs—a long running “code” symbol of jackets and coats made only for elite wardrobes… due to the rare and extreme sartorial skill sets and precision required to create them (there are very few tailors or brands left in the world who have the skill levels and know how to execute them, and their work is expensive)—come standard on this NNJ05 with a classic 3-button array impeccably executed allowing you to unbutton and roll up your sleeves for work, play or just quietly showing off a little...

Put your hands in the pockets of this GBS superjacket and you’ll feel the difference immediately. The 4 all hand cut tailored front besom flap and welt pockets and 2 interior besom pockets required between 20 -30 minutes to expertly constuct each one, carefully cut and constructed with perfect matching plaids and are all fully self-lined in the extremely expensive pure Alashan cashmere wollenspun fabric instead of skimping and using cheaper pocket lining materials like other luxury brands do. This long-time value approach to maximum comfort costs more as it uses more of the precious fabric but results in incredibly soft comfort for you when you put your hands in the pockets of this coat. It can actually help reduce your stress and is part of the wonderful relaxing feel and experience of wearing the piece...
