EXTREME SUPERLUX CLASSIC SWEATER DESIGN
365 GRAM ITALIAN CARIAGGI PURE CASHMERE YARN AUTHENTIC SELLA FAMILY FULLY FASHIONED 7 GAUGE CONSTRUCTION WITH EXTREME GBS HAND ACCIDENT DYED ARTISANAL COLOR WORK, PURE SILK LABEL & HANDSTITCH DETAILING
This super limited edition GBS Evolution V MZK02 extreme artisanal production design sweater is one of only 4 pieces of its kind currently made by hand in the entire world this year, each exclusively for Blue Mountain School in London, from a classic Italian rocker's "stile polpo" octopus-style European slim-fit crew-neck 7 gauge pullover sweater pattern from our extensive tailoring research, and expertly knit using classic fully fashioned construction techniques by the Sella family of master knitters in Cavarzere Venezia and over 365 grams of pure Mongolian cashmere ultralux yarn from Italy’s most prestigious cashmere yarn maker, the Cariaggi Lanificio in Cagli Pesaro e Urbino that provides 10 times more insulating power than normal wool. The special knitwear design was then specially individually multiple hand dyed in our famous workrooms using our proprietary extreme handwork artistic artisan process and technique code-named “accident dye” and then extreme hand fabric treatment work which took over 5 days of expert work to achieve its spectacular unique mottled colors, aged “chiaroscuro” patina effects, special shaping and incredible softness. The sweater will get even softer over time and mold to your body with natural use; unlike industrial sweater finishing- GBS hand finishing techniques use no chemicals, oils, silicone or machinery- allowing the sweater to have a longer wearing life and maximum environmental sustainability. The design features all the hallmarks of the very best in Italian knitwear craftsmanship from its impeccable seamless one piece build entirely made from scratch with no sewing seams or cutting to the exquisitely executed “costina” rib-knit sections, and “calatura” 4 into 2 shoulder seam and armhole shaping. The piece also features our world leading pure silk hand dyed label created exclusively for us by Mion SpA in Torreglia which is the first label in the luxury industry to completely eliminate plastic polyester yarns in it, beautifully sewn in by hand in luxurious pure silk Bozzolo Reale Milano Seta threads--exquisitely attached all by hand using pure silk threads. Variations in color and color density are not imperfections or irregularities, but specific characteristics of the special hand dyeing and making techniques. We recommend professional cleaning only or hand wash in cold water. Do not wash with other items. Do not put in machine washer or dryer.
