This special version of the super limited edition HUWS13 shirt design is one of only 2 pieces of its kind made by hand in the entire world this year, each exclusively for T.O in Kochi, Japan from our 1930’s Virginia Woolf collar shape button-front shirt pattern from our extensive tailoring research, and cut using a luxurious silk georgette crepe exclusive floral print made for us by the legendary Serica della Marca silk mill in Follina Treviso, then individually washed and treated by hand in our world famous GBS Superworkrooms at Cavarzere Venezia for extra aging, shaping and softness. The design features impeccable clean-finished French-seamed interior construction, beautiful real mother-of-pearl buttons made for us by the Lanzanova family of pearl button specialists in Brescia, and no less than 9 of our signature real hand-stitched buttonholes (which required at least 10-12 minutes to create each one, over 2 hours of expert and painstaking work just on buttonholes and buttons for the single shirt) in pure silk Bozzolo Reale Milano thread. The piece also features our world leading pure silk label created exclusively for us by Mion SpA in Torreglia which is the first label in the luxury industry to completely eliminate plastic polyester yarns in it– beautifully attached all by hand using pure silk threads.
