This special version of the super limited edition GRS08 shirt design is one of only 2 pieces of its kind made by hand in the entire world this year, each exclusively for T.O in Kochi, using a luxurious pure silk 16-momme raso satin exclusive floral print made for us by thelegendary Brenna family in Como- the world’s leading region for fine silk fabric creation, then individually multiple hand dyed in our world famous GBS Superworkrooms at Cavarzere Venezia with our advanced extreme artisanal “accident dye” technique that uniquely renders its exceptional uneven colors, mottled patina effects and incredible softness. The design features a uniquely balanced cut, fit and design;impeccable clean-finished French-seamed interior construction, elegant squared hems and side slits with longer back, a new longer proportion fit and cut from our medieval period research, beautiful real mother-of-pearl buttons made for us by the Lanzanova family of pearl button specialists in Brescia, and no less than 9 of our signature real hand sewn buttonholes with pure silk Bozzolo Milano Seta Reale threads, each one requires 8-10 minutes to cut and sew, over 2 hours of painstaking expert work just to make the buttonholes alone for a single shirt.The piece also features our world leading pure silk label created exclusively for us by Mion SpA in Torreglia which is the first label in the luxury industry to completely eliminate plastic polyester yarns in it – beautifully attached all by hand using pure silk threads.Variations in color and color density are not imperfections or irregularities, but specific characteristics of this special hand making technique.
