THIS special version of the super limited edition GRJ13 archive jacket design is one of only 2 pieces of its kind made by hand in the entire world kind made by hand in the entire world, each exclusively for Journal Standard Luxe in Japan. It was created from our fully-lined button-closure double-vent oversized rear game pocket jacket pattern from our extensive "Get Set" 2018 Paris collection tailoring research, and cut using a pure wool herringbone textured weave luxury fabric woven in Biella, Italy--the world's leading region for fine virgin wool fabric production--combined with a beautiful fully-lined story in pure silk 16 momme raso satin exclusive rose floral print fabric made only for us by the legendary Brenna family in Como, Italy--the world’s leading center for fine silk fabric creation--then individually multiple hand dyed in our world-famous GBS Superworkrooms at Cavarzere Venezia using a series of special processes that required at least over 17 hours of expert work for each piece to achieve its unique colors, patina effects, shaping and softness. The design features large roomy front and rear pocketing which can be buttoned for security, exquisitely clean-finished fully lined interior construction, expert single-needle stitching throughout, remarkable hand sewn real horn buttons made exclusively for us by the world’s greatest living buttonmakers--Claudio & Cinzia Fontana in Parma, Italy--and no less than 10 of our signature real hand-stitched buttonholes (which required at least 10-15 minutes to create each one) in pure silk Bozzolo Milano Seta Reale threads. The piece also features our world leading pure silk hand dyed label created exclusively for us by Mion SpA in Torreglia which is the first label in the luxury industry to completely eliminate plastic polyester yarns in it--beautifully attached entirely by hand using pure silk threads.
