This special Evolution VI version of the GBS super limited edition EVS01 shirt design is one of only 2 pieces of its kind made by hand in the entire world this year, each exclusively for Leclaireur in Paris. It was created from a classic European cut tailored shirt pattern from our extensive tailoring research, and cut using the lightest pure cashmere suiting cloth in the world- the superlux “Alashan Breath” pure ultralight 170gram pure cashmere fabric woven by the oldest woolen mill still operating in the world today and the world’s most renowned maker of cashmere fabrics- Fratelli Piacenza 1733 SpA in Pollone Biella... then individually washed and treated by hand in our world-famous GBS Superworkrooms at Cavarzere Venezia for extra aging, shaping, softness, and drape. The extreme handmade design features an impeccable classic European tailored men’s shirt cut and design, special extensive all handstitched detail work on shoulder and back yoke seams and sleeve cuffs in pure silk threads that involved over 2 and a half hours of master artisan work, expert single-needle stitching throughout, impeccably clean finished all-french-seamed interior construction, all handstitched pure silk thread label detailing work, amazing real horn shirt button designs made for us by the world’s greatest living buttonmakers- Claudio and Cinzia Fontana in Parma Italy, and no less than 12 of our signature hand sewn buttonholes (each one required 10-12 minutes to cut and sew, over 3 hours of ultra-skilled work on buttonholes and buttons for a single shirt) each in luxurious pure silk Bozzolo Reale Milano Seta threads that cost over 1.40 euros per meter for the thread alone. The piece also features our world leading pure silk label created exclusively for us by Mion SpA in Torreglia- the first label in the luxury industry to completely eliminate plastic polyester yarns in it which was hand dyed to achieve its beautiful color and lustre and exquisitely attached by hand using pure silk threads and comes with a matching deluxe GBS handmade sustainable triple filtration tailor's respiratory community mask as standard equipment for ongoing Covid-19 pandemic protection wear and health safety. Variations in color and color density are not imperfections or irregularities, but specific characteristics of the special fabric, and hand making technique. Please treat buttons and buttonholes with extreme care. We recommend professional clean only or hand wash cold water and protecting buttons with foil or plastic wrap when washing. Do not put in machine washer or dryer.
