THIS special version of the extreme limited edition EVJ01 handmade 4-piece supersuit design is the only one of its kind made in the entire world. It was created exclusively by hand from a phenomenal hyperlux ultrasoft Super 210’s “Arcadia” 13-micron pure wool suiting cloth woven by the oldest woolen mill in the world and the world’s most respected cashmere and fine wool fabric maker- Fratelli Piacenza 1733 Spa in Pollone Biella, Italy- and combined with an exquisite pure silk 16 momme raso satin floral and abstract design combination print lining story made only for us by the legendary Brenna family in Como, Italy--the world's leading center for fine silk fabric creation-- and then specially mutliple hand-dyed in our world-famous GBS Superworkrooms at Cavarzere Venezia using a series of processes that required over 29 hours of master work to achieve its special colors, patina effects, shaping, and incredible softness and drape. The special jacket, waistcoat, scarf and trouser design represents the world’s cutting edge of extreme handmade clothes-making technology and features very special old-fashioned canvas horsehair front and collar interfacings totally hand-padstitched with over 1000 invisible hand stitches inside to give it its remarkable natural roll line along lapels and collar, real working buttonhole surgeon’s sleeve cuffs, hand-cut besom, flap and welt pockets inside and out, generous 2,5 centimeter seam allowances on major fitting seams that allow the piece to be altered and let out a full size larger than its original cut, a remarkable composition story of real horn button designs made exclusively for us by the world’s greatest living buttonmakers- Claudio and Cinzia Fontana in Parma, Italy, and no less than 24 of our signature hand-stitched buttonholes in pure silk Bozzolo Reale Milano Seta threads (which required at least 12-15 minutes to create each one on the challenging handwoven fabric). A full day of expert work was needed for the creation of the buttonholes alone. The pieces also features our world leading hand dyed pure silk label created exclusively for us by Mion SpA in Torreglia- the first label in the luxury industry to completely eliminate plastic polyester yarns in it--beautifully attached by all hand using pure silk threads and handsigned and numbered by the designer.

The EVJ01 supersuit is comprised of four extraordinary pieces created using our classic single-breasted 3-button notch lapel jacket, 6-button single-breasted waiscoat and trapezoid scarf set, and fully-lined straight-leg suspender trouser patterns from our extensive tailoring research and cut entirely by hand using a phenomenal hyperlux ultrasoft Super 210’s “Arcadia” 13-micron pure wool 215 gram per meter suiting cloth woven by the oldest woolen mill in the world and the world’s most respected cashmere and fine wool fabric maker- Fratelli Piacenza 1733 Spa in Pollone Biella, Italy...

...and combined with an exquisite pure silk 16 momme raso satin floral and abstract design combination print lining story for the jacket, waistcoat and scarf made only for us by the legendary Brenna family in Como, Italy--the world's leading center for fine silk fabric creation--along with a pure cupro deluxe Bemberg-type striped yarn-dyed weave luxury linings for the trouser for maximum lightness, comfort and long-term wear (trousers normally wear out before jackets and vests during the lifetime of a suit particulary in the seat due to wallet use of the pockets and general wear and tear movment--the correct linings can help prolong the trouser's life by protecting the seat and wearing our first before the exterior cloth and can then be replaced with a new lining to further protect the trouser for more time). Inside the jacket, waistcoat and trouser... all major fitting seams are given generous 2,5 cm seam allowances to allow for ample alterations capability. This approach also requires more upfront fabric investment and costs but can greatly extend the usable life and service of the suit to adapt to its owner's changing body shape and dimensions over his or her lifetime--a key factor in understanding its long-term value for money spent and its low net costs per wear over time. The suit also features impeccable finishing throughout including a beautifully executed center-back vent construction on both the jacket and waistcoat for elegance and ease of movement and extraordinary interior trouser work including the real hand sewn Italian jaquard weave taped hemlines (not machined) that required over 2 hours of expert work to achieve their beautiful clean finish and superior durability and tailored elegance...
