THIS super limited edition edition GBS Evolution VIII EV8S08 handmade shirt design is one of only 7 pieces of its kind being made by hand in the entire world. Of these, the very first 2 of these pieces have been created exclusively in June 2024 for Leclaireur Hérold in Paris from our “extensionism extra-elongated proportion version of a classic European-fit tailored men’s shirt pattern from our extensive tailoring research, and cut using a luxury pure silk 16-momme raso satin exclusive “extensionism 4” cutting edge distortion version of an 1805 Gilray Napoleon versus Pitt historical world empire cartoon print design fabric made only for us by the legendary Brenna family in Como, Italy-- the world’s leading center for fine silk fabric creation, then specially washed and treated by hand in our world-famous GBS Superworkrooms for extra aging, shaping and softness. The design features a classic European tailored men’s shirt cut and design with extreme extended length proportions and spectacular ultra-advanced extended point narrow spread collar with a hidden Italian automatica metal micro pressure button system to lock down its striking profile and position- impeccably hand sewn in pure silk threads with impeccable clean-finished all french-seamed interior construction, advanced elongated distortional cuff design, and extraordinary pure horn button designs made only for us by the world’s greatest living buttonmakers—Claudio and Cinzia Fontana in Parma; and no less than 10 of our signature real hand-stitched buttonholes (each one required 10-12 minutes to cut and sew) in luxurious pure silk Bozzolo Reale Milano Seta threads. The piece also features our world leading pure silk label created exclusively for us by Mion SpA in Torreglia which is the first label in the luxury industry to completely eliminate plastic polyester yarns in it—beautifully attached all by hand using pure silk threads. Variations in color and color density are not imperfections or irregularities, but specific characteristics of the special fabric and hand making technique. Please treat buttons and buttonholes with care. We recommend professional clean only or hand wash cold water and protecting buttons with foil or plastic wrap when washing. Do not put in washing machine or machine dryer.
