This special black version of the super limited edition GBS Evolution VIII EV8J13 superjacket design is the only piece of its kind made by hand in the entire world. It was created exclusively for Ink in Hong Kong from an advanced design extreme elongated proportion “extensionism” silhouette version of an early 1900’s blouson historical baseball jacket pattern from our extensive tailoring research, and cut using an all-new “Oxygen Winter” luxury research textured silk and wool suiting cloth woven in Biella by the historic Lanificio F.lli Cerruti 1881mill under the new ownership and direction of Fratelli Piacenza 1733—the world’s oldest still operating woolen mill now in its 14th generation of family ownership & management and the world’s most respected maker of fine wool fabric, combined with a luxurious full lining story of pure silk 16 momme raso satin exclusive pyramids print fabric made in Como, the world’s leading center for fine silk fabric creation--then specially dyed by hand in our world-famous GBS Superworkrooms at Cavarzere Venezia using an age old process which required over 12 hours of highly specialized work to achieve its special colors, patina effects, shaping, drape and softness. The design features an extended extra long blouson type silhouette with a special American baseball type crescent shaped collar and exquisitely executed tailored fly front panel section, hand cut welt pockets, tailored elasticized sleeve cuff design, impeccable clean-finished fully-lined interior construction, hand sewn Italian metal “automatica” snap pressure closures, remarkable real horn button designs made for us by the world’s greatest living buttonmakers- Claudio and Cinzia Fontana in Parma, and our signature real hand sewn buttonholes in pure silk Bozzolo Milano Seta Reale threads (each one required 10-12 minutes to cut and sew). The piece also features our world leading hand dyed pure silk label created exclusively for us by Mion SpA in Torreglia which is the first label in the luxury industry to completely eliminate plastic polyester yarns in it- beautifully attached completely by hand with pure silk threads.
