THIS special version of the super limited edition GBS Evolution VIII EV8J08 handmade jacket design is the only piece of its kind made by hand in the entire world. It was created exclusively for Ink in Hong Kong from an “extensionism” advanced design elongated and "allargato" proportion silhouette version of a six-button double-breasted 4-pocket front, peak-lapel extended length tailored jacket pattern from our extensive tailoring research, and cut in a very special “Noble Flannel” cashmere & wool flannel chalkstripe weave suiting cloth woven in Pollone, Biella by Fratelli Piacenza 1733—the world’s oldest still operating woolen mill now in its 14th generation of family ownership & management and the world’s most respected maker of fine wool and cashmere fabrics, combined with a pure silk raso satin rose print lining story made in Como Italy-the world's leading region for fine silk fabric creation-then individually multiple hand dyed in our world famous GBS Superworkrooms at Cavarzere Venezia using our special super-artisanal “accident-dye” process and requiring over 16 hours of highly specialized work to achieve its amazing mottled colors, patina effects, shaping and softness. The design features an all new dramatically elegant extended shoulder and body length shape and silhouette enhanced by very special old-fashioned canvas horsehair front and collar interfacings totally hand-padstitched with over 1000 invisible hand stitches inside to give it its remarkable soft, natural roll line along lapels and collar, real working 4 buttonhole surgeon’s sleeve cuffs, hand-cut besom and welt pockets inside and out, hand cut side vents, generous 2,5 centimeter seam allowances on major fitting seams that allow the piece to be altered and let out a full size larger than its original cut, beautifully clean-finished interiors, stunning advanced "ciambella" donut-shape form incision-cut real horn buttons made exclusively for us by the world’s greatest living buttonmakers- Claudio and Cinzia Fontana in Parma; and no less than 13 of our signature real hand-stitched buttonholes (each one required 10-14 minutes to cut and sew) in luxurious pure silk Bozzolo Reale Milano Seta threads. The piece also features our world leading pure silk hand-dyed label created exclusively for us by Mion SpA in Torreglia which is the first label in the luxury industry to completely eliminate plastic polyester yarns in it—beautifully attached entirely by hand using pure silk threads.
