ENTIRELY HAND WOVEN HAND DYED TESSITURA LA COLOMBINA NATURAL “ALPAGO” WOOL YARN HISTORIC “MONK’S TWILL” FABRIC WITH SPECIAL LININGS, SILK HAND-STITCHED BUTTON HOLES & FONTANA REAL HORN BUTTONS

THIS special version of the super limited edition GBS Evolution VII.2 EV7WC02 supercoat design is the only piece of its kind made by hand in the entire world. It was created exclusively for Ink in Hong Kong using the all new advanced exaggerated large volume 4-button double-breasted peaked-lapel coat pattern developed from our extensive tailoring research and cut using completely natural chemical-free wool yarns sourced from the indigenous breed of small Alpagota sheep located in the Alpago Valley of Italy, near Belluno about 100km from our workrooms in the Veneto region and completely handwoven into a phenomenal historical reproduction twill first made by the Italian Franciscan monks in the 13th century exclusively for us on the legendary 18th century wooden hand looms of Tessitura La Colombina in Badoere di Morgano, Italy that required more than 2 days just to make enough cloth for the single jacket, combined with an exquisite composition lining story in luxury viscosa jacquard and stripe weaves all created by Ezio Ghiringhelli in Varese-- then specially dyed by hand in our world-famous GBS Super-workrooms at Cavarzere Venezia using a process that required over 10 hours of expert work to achieve its unique color, patina effects, shaping and hardy feel. The design features advanced raglan sleeve exaggerated volume shaping and proportion, superb classical tailoring with all hand-tailored exterior vertical diagonal edge welt pocket build, real single button working-buttonhole advanced design special raglan surgeon-sleeve cuffs, functional hidden button and working top lapel buttonhole which can be worn buttoned up for cooler weather or sportier styling, elegant fitted dart design bottom with cocoon shaped tapering line, generous 2.5 centimeter side seam allowances for plenty of alteration capability to take in or let out, impeccable hems all completely sewn by hand (not machined) using our own special techniques that are performed to be invisible on the outside yet hold solid for years and never come down, exquisite mottled color real horn button designs- created exclusively for us by the world's greatest living buttonmakers- Claudio and Cinzia Fontana in Parma Italy, and no less than five of our signature real hand sewn buttonholes in luxurious pure silk Bozzolo Milano Seta Reale threads (which required at least 14-20 minutes to create each one due the challenging handwoven fabric). The piece also features our world leading pure silk hand dyed label created exclusively for us by Mion SpA in Torreglia which is the first label in the luxury industry to completely eliminate plastic polyester yarns in it—beautifully attached all by hand using pure silk threads.
