This special version of the super limited edition GBS Evolution VII.2 EV7WC02 supercoat design is one of only 2 pieces of its kind made by hand in the entire world, each exclusively for Blue Mountain School in London using the all new advanced exaggerated large volume 4-button double-breasted peaked-lapel coat pattern developed from our extensive tailoring research and cut using a super lux ultrasoft pure Alashan Cashmere 2-ply 460 gram per meter coating fabric woven by the oldest woolen mill in the world and the world’s most respected cashmere fabric makers- Fratelli Piacenza 1733 Spa in Pollone Biella, Italy- then combined with a special lining story using a pure silk 16 momme raso satin exclusive paisley print design made for us by the legendary Brenna family in Como, Italy--the world’s leading center for fine silk fabric creation, then individually washed and treated by hand in our world-famous GBS Superworkrooms at Cavarzere Venezia for extra aging, shaping, drape and softness. The design features advanced raglan sleeve exaggerated volume shaping and proportion with extensive pure silk thread hand stitch detailing work all along sleeves, shoulder lines and pockets, superb classical tailoring with all hand-tailored exterior vertical diagonal edge welt pocket build and impeccable clean-finished fully-lined interior construction besom pockets- each individually hand cut, formed and assembled requiring about 25 minutes of expert work for each one, real single button working-buttonhole advanced design special raglan surgeon-sleeve cuffs, functional hidden button and working top lapel buttonhole which can be worn buttoned up for cooler weather or sportier styling, elegant fitted dart design bottom with cocoon shaped tapering line, generous 2.5 centimeter side seam allowances for plenty of alteration capability to take in or let out, impeccable hems all completely sewn by hand (not machined) using our own special techniques that are performed to be invisible on the outside yet hold solid for years and never come down, impeccable "3844" classic form 4-hole real horn button designs created for us by the world's greatest living buttonmakers- Claudio and Cinzia Fontana in Parma Italy, and no less than five of our signature real hand sewn buttonholes in luxurious pure silk Bozzolo Milano Seta Reale threads (which required at least 14-18 minutes to create each one). The piece also features our world leading pure silk hand dyed label created exclusively for us by Mion SpA in Torreglia which is the first label in the luxury industry to completely eliminate plastic polyester yarns in it—beautifully attached all by hand using pure silk threads. Variations in color and color density, as well as various yarn and weave disparities, are not imperfections or irregularities, but specific characteristics of the special fabric, and hand making technique. Please treat buttons and buttonholes with care. We recommend air dry or professional clean only or hand wash cold water and protecting buttons with foil or plastic wrap when washing. Do not put in washing machine or machine dryer.
