THIS super limited edition GBS Evolution VI EV6S05 handmade shirt design is one of only 4 pieces of its kind made by hand in the entire world. It was created from a classic European-cut tailored shirt pattern from our extensive tailoring research, and cut using a deluxe “Superleggero” pure handkerchief linen shirting cloth woven for us in Varese, Italy—the world’s leading region for fine linen fabric production--then specially hand-dyed and treated in our world-famous GBS Superworkrooms at Cavarzere Venezia using a process which required over 10 hours of highly specialized work to achieve its special colors, patina effects and softness. The design features amazing first-in-the-world advanced paisley design embroidery hand stitched buttonholes in high contrast red pure silk threads, an impeccable classic European tailored men’s shirt cut and design, expert single-needle stitching throughout, beautifully finished all french-seamed interior construction, all handstitched pure silk thread label and button detailing work, beautiful “Roberta” design real mother-of-pearl shirt button designs made exclusively for us by the world’s greatest living buttonmakers-- Claudio and Cinzia Fontana in Parma Italy, and no less than 12 of our signature hand sewn buttonholes (each one required 10-25 minutes to cut and sew, over 4 hours of expert and painstaking work on buttonholes and buttons for the single shirt) with several ultra-advanced extended embroidery stitched buttonhole designs that are the first in the world of their kind… all in pure silk Bozzolo Reale Seta Milan threads. The piece also features our world leading hand dyed pure silk label created exclusively for us by Mion SpA in Torreglia which is the first label in the luxury industry to completely eliminate plastic polyester yarns in it-- beautifully attached entirely by hand using pure silk threads.
