THIS special version of the super limited edition GBS Evolution XI EV11S02 hand-made shirt design is one of only 7 pieces of its kind made by hand in the entire world, each exclusively created from our classic tailored men’s shirt pattern, from our extensive tailoring research, and cut in an exclusive “Superleggero” pure super lightweight handkerchief linen woven only for us in Varese, Italy--the world's leading region for fine cotton and linen fabric production--then specially multiple hand dyed in our our world-famous GBS Superworkrooms at Cavarzere Venezia using a special process which required over 20 hours of expert work to achieve its special green grey colors, patina effects, shaping and softness. The design features a classic European tailored men’s shirt cut and design, impeccable clean-finished all french-seamed interior construction, classic mitre-construction sleeve plackets, extraordinary real horn shirt button designs made only for us by the world’s greatest living buttonmakers—Claudio and Cinzia Fontana in Collecchio di Parma, Italy--;and no less than 12 of our signature real hand-stitched buttonholes (each one required 10-12 minutes to cut and sew) in luxurious pure silk Bozzolo Reale Milano Seta threads. The piece also features our world leading pure silk label created exclusively for us by Mion SpA in Torreglia which is the first label in the luxury industry to completely eliminate plastic polyester yarns in it--beautifully attached completely by hand with pure silk threads. Variations in color and color density are not imperfections or irregularities, but specific characteristics of the special fabric and hand making technique.
