THIS special version of the super limited edition GBS Evolution XI EV11J08 jacket design is one of only 2 pieces of its kind made by hand in the entire world, each exclusively from our original reversible 2-in-1 secret directional styling 1930's bikers blouson jacket reproduction from our extensive tailoring research, and cut using a special textured weave 42% linen, 45% wool, 8% cotton trans-seasonal weight diagonal twill luxury suiting cloth made only for us by the world's leading research fabric maker--Luigi Parisotto in Sarcedo, Vicenza Italy—combined with an exquisite lining story of GBS hand dyed luxurious pure silk 16-momme raso satin exclusive “Uccelli” bird floral print design made for us by the legendary Brenna family in Como, Italy--the world’s leading center for fine silk fabric creation--then individually washed, shaped and treated by hand in our world-famous GBS Superworkrooms at Cavarzere Venezia for extra aging, shaping, and softness. The design features a clean minimalist blouson styling with no waistband and a true 2-in-1 reversible convertible design, hand-cut besom welt pockets fully self-lined in the original precious fabrics for maximum comfort and durability, impeccable top-of-the-line quality Excella dark grey metal reversible front and welt pocket zippers that were specially made to order for us in Japan at YKK’s top-world factory, beautiful clean-finished fully-lined interior construction, generous 2.5 centimeter seam allowances on major fitting seams which allow the jacket to be easily altered for long term wear and service, extraordinary double real horn buttons made only for us by the world's greatest living buttonmakers--Claudio and Cinzia Fontana in Parma, Italy--and our signature real hand-stitched buttonholes (each one required 10-14 minutes to cut and sew) in pure silk Bozzolo Reale Milano Seta threads. The piece is hand-signed and numbered by the designer and also features our world leading pure silk hand-dyed label created exclusively for us by Mion SpA in Torreglia--the first label in the luxury industry to completely eliminate plastic polyester yarns it--beautifully attached inside the pocket entirely by hand using pure silk threads.
