THIS special version of the super limited edition GBS Evolution XI EV11J01 hand-made jacket design is one of only 2 pieces of its kind made by hand in the entire world, each exclusively using a classic single-breasted 3-button special notch-lapel jacket pattern from our extensive tailoring research, and cut using an all new special 57 percent wool 43 percent cotton trans-seasonal weight diagonal twill luxury suiting cloth made only for us by the world's leading research fabric maker--Luigi Parisotto in Sarcedo, Vicenza Italy—combined with an exquisite lining story of GBS hand dyed luxurious pure silk 16-momme raso satin exclusive “Clouds” print design developed by the artist LAS made only for us by the legendary Brenna family in Como, Italy--the world’s leading center for fine silk fabric creation--then individually washed, shaped and treated by hand in our world-famous GBS Superworkrooms at Cavarzere Venezia for extra aging, shaping, and softness. The design features a special first in the world linear seam design lapel detail, very special old-fashioned canvas horsehair front and collar interfacings totally hand-padstitched with over 1000 invisible hand-stitches inside to give it its remarkable soft, natural roll line along lapels and collar, real handmade working surgeon’s 3-button sleeve cuffs, extraordinary hand-cut besom, curved diagonal welt and interior besom pockets throughout the garment each fully self-lined with the valuable wool & cotton suiting cloth for incredible comfort, security and durability; hand-cut double side back vents, generous 2,5 centimeter seam allowances on major fitting seams that allow the jacket to be altered and let out for long-term wear and value, a remarkable composition of GBS hand dyed and hand-sewn real Corozo-nut button designs made exclusively for us by the world’s greatest living buttonmakers--Claudio and Cinzia Fontana in Parma, Italy--and no less than 10 of our signature real hand-stitched buttonholes in pure silk Bozzolo Reale Milano Seta threads which required at least 12-14 minutes to create each one (over 2 hours of painstaking expert work just to make the buttonholes alone for a single jacket). The piece also features our world leading pure silk label created exclusively for us by Mion SpA in Torreglia which is the first label in the luxury industry to completely eliminate plastic polyester yarns in it--beautifully attached entirely by hand with pure silk threads.
