SPECIAL EXCLUSIVE HAND-DYED FRATELLI PIACENZA 1733 SUPERLUX PURE ALASHAN CASHMERE WOLLENSPUN SUITING FABRIC WITH PURE CUPRO BEMBERG-TYPE LININGS, DELUXE EXCELLA METAL ZIPPER, HAND-SEWN ITALIAN METAL FASTENERS

THIS special version of the super limited edition ETP06 archive formal trouser design one of only 3 pieces of its kind made by hand in the entire world, each created exclusively from a modified 1910’s conical tapered leg trousers pattern from our “Earth.Land.Terra” Paris Autumn/Winter 2013 collection’s extensive tailoring research, and cut using a superlux pure Alashan wollenspun cashmere suiting cloth woven only for us by the oldest still operating woolen mill in the world and the world’s most respected cashmere fabric makers--Fratelli Piacenza 1733 in Pollone, Biella, Italy--combined with pure cupro Bemberg-type linings woven for us by Tessitura Mauri in Como for maximum lightness and comfort--then all specially multiple hand-dyed, washed and treated in our world-famous GBS Superworkrooms at Cavarzere Venezia using a series of processes that required over 27 hours of master work to achieve its special uneven colors, patina effects, shaping, and incredible softness and drape. The design features a special period relaxed upper leg with tapering slim leg bottom silhouette with elegant side stripe detailing, carefully cut and sewn expert matching plaid tailoring work, split back waistband with cinch belt and metal buckle, hand-cut rear besom and front in-the-seam pockets each fully self-lined in the precious Alashan wollenspun cashmere fabric for maximum comfort and durability, beautifully finished fully-lined interior construction, generous 2,5 centimeter seam allowances on major fitting seams that allow the piece to be altered and let out for long term wear and service, real hand-sewn GBS pure Como Silk print taped hemlines (not machined) using our proprietary in-house techniques for maximum durability, impeccable top-of-the-line Excella metal zipper made to order for us by YKK’s top world factory in Japan, and exclusive hand-sewn Italian metal hook and eye and automatic fastening closures. The piece also features our world leading pure silk label created exclusively for us by Mion SpA in Torreglia which is the first label in the luxury industry to completely eliminate plastic polyester yarns in it--beautifully attached entirely by hand with pure silk threads. Variations in color and color density are not imperfections or irregularities, but specific characteristics of the special hand-dyeing and hand-making technique.
