EXCLUSIVE EXTREME HANDWORK DESIGN LUIGI PARISOTTO “GHIA” WEAVE LINEN, SILK, CASHMERE, VISCOSE & WOOL WITH SPECIAL LINING STORY, HAND-STITCHED BUTTONHOLES & FONTANA REAL HORN BUTTONS

This super limited edition BGJ03 handmade jacket design is one of only 2 pieces of its kind made by hand in the entire world this year. It was created from our original GBS designer’s classic single-breasted notch-lapel double vent jacket pattern from our extensive tailoring research, and cut using a hand dyed special linen, silk, cashmere, viscosa and wool “Ghia” weave fabric created only for us by Luigi Parisotto, the world’s leading research fabric designer and weaver in Sarcedo Vicenza, combined with a beautiful lining story of jacquard weave and special striped lining fabrics made for us by Ezio Ghiringhelli in Varese and Tessitura Mauri in Como, then specially hand dyed in our world-famous GBS Superworkrooms at Cavarzere Venezia using a special process that required over 8 hours for each piece to achieve its unique colors, patina effects, shaping and softness. The design features very special authentic real working surgeon-cuff sleeve buttonholes, hand-cut besom welt pockets with flaps and elegant handmade breast pocket, remarkable real horn buttons made for us by the world's greatest living button-makers--Claudio and Cinzia Fontana in Parma--and no less than 10 of our signature real hand-stitched buttonholes (that required 10-14 minutes to cut and sew each one) all in pure silk Bozzolo Reale Seta Milan threads. The piece also features our world leading pure silk natural hand dyed label created exclusively for us by Mion SpA in Torreglia which is the first label in the luxury industry to completely eliminate plastic polyester yarns in it--beautifully attached entirely by hand using pure silk threads.
