THIS special of the super limited edition RNS12 handmade shirt design is one of only 7 pieces made by hand exclusively for Darklands in Berlin. It was created by hand using an intriguing pure silk 16 momme raso satin “Evolution Man” print design created exclusively for us by the legendary Brenna family in Como Italy, the world's leading center for fine silk fabric creation, and features a classic European tailored men’s shirt cut and design, real mother-of-pearl buttons made for us by the Lanzanova family of pearl button specialists in Brescia, and no less than 12 of our signature real hand sewn buttonholes in luxurious pure silk Bozzolo Milano Seta Reale threads (which required at least 10-12 minutes to create each one). The piece was then specially multiple GBS “Accident dyed” by hand with a stunning story of red and grey tones in our studios using multiple applications of our latest advanced artisanal dye processes to achieve its unique colors, mottled patina effects and softness… and features our world leading pure silk hand dyed label created exclusively for us by Mion SpA in Torreglia which is the first label in the luxury industry to completely eliminate plastic polyester yarns in it--beautifully attached all by hand using pure silk threads. Variations in color and color density are not imperfections or irregularities, but specific characteristics of the special fabric, and hand making and dyeing techniques. Please treat buttons and buttonholes with care. We recommend professional clean only or hand wash cold water and protecting buttons with foil or plastic wrap when washing. Do not put in washing machine or machine dryer.
