THIS special Evolution VII version of the super limited edition GRS08 shirt design is one of only 6 pieces of its kind made by hand in the entire world, each exclusively for Darklands in Berlin, using a luxurious pure silk 16-momme raso satin exclusive Darklands “Pigeons” ornithological print design developed by Estefania Campillo and made only for us by the legendary Brenna family in Como, the world’s leading center for fine silk fabric creation- then specially washed and treated by hand in our world-famous GBS Superworkrooms at Cavarzere Venezia for extra aging, shaping, drape and softness. The design features an impeccable clean-finished French-seamed interior construction, uniquely balanced cut, fit and design, a new longer proportion shape from our medieval period research, impeccable real mother-of-pearl shirt buttons made for us by the Lanzanova family of pearl button specialists in Brescia, and no less than 9 of our signature real hand sewn buttonholes in pure silk Bozzolo Milano Seta Reale threads, each one required 10-12 minutes to cut and sew- (over 2 hours of painstaking expert work just to make the buttonholes alone for a single shirt). The piece also features our world leading hand dyed pure silk label created exclusively for us by Mion SpA in Torreglia which is the first label in the luxury industry to completely eliminate plastic polyester yarns in it- beautifully attached completely by hand with pure silk threads. Variations in color and color density are not imperfections or irregularities, but specific characteristics of this special hand dyeing technique. Please treat buttons and buttonholes with care. We recommend professional cleaning or hand wash cold water and protecting buttons with foil or plastic wrap when washing. Do not put in washer dryer. Do not wash with other items.
