GBS handmade Fratelli Piacenza 1733 ‘Cocoon’ vicunya and royal cashmere superclothes are the next level above and beyond our exceptional top of the industry pure cashmere designs. This new series may challenge what many believe is possible in valuation for clothes, but serious clothing conoisseurs and collectors know the extreme value, rarity and beauty of real vicunya fibres and cloths and the amazing animal and ultra-sustainable story behind it that puts Vicunya in a class by itself.
For a start, it has to come from the Andes Mountains in South America and be fully controlled and certified by the CITES world endangered species protection organization every step of the way until it gets to the final owner’s wardrobe including the important 'Vicunya' label which is granted only from the Peruvian, Argentinian or Bolivian government and must be attached and displayed prominently in the lining of the garment for all customs agents to see immediately upon inspection.
